AMBLER, Pa., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- i3ARCHIVE, Inc.(TM) selected MC2 Interactive, Inc., to design and develop a suite of marketing materials and media to help launch its premier product, the National Digital Mammography Archive(TM) (NDMA). NDMA provides a complete medical image and information management system that offers immediate on-line storage of enterprise-wide and nationwide diagnostic mammography images and relevant information.
“Launching this unique diagnostic system required a sophisticated set of tools that the i3ARCHIVE(TM) team could use to communicate with a variety of audiences,” says Stephen Bouikidis, MC2 vice president. “Consistent use of logo and imagery across multiple types of media was key to developing successful marketing materials to launch this new product. We also designed materials to help i3ARCHIVE(TM) staff to differentiate the technology used in the NDMA from other technologies.”
The suite of materials developed for i3ARCHIVE(TM) includes logos, a stationery set, brochure, exhibit booth presentation, interactive CD-ROM, information sheets and support materials for trade shows and sales presentations.
“The partnership with MC2 has been exceptional,” says Bonnie Sharps, i3ARCHIVE(TM) vice president of Business Development. “Our web site, brochure and flash-based CD-ROM are getting our message out to radiologists and physicians who will benefit from NDMA.”
The NDMA, the first project of its kind in the medical community, builds upon existing digital technology to provide a national lifetime archive of mammography images and data, gathered from hospitals around the country and permanently available to patients and doctors.
The NDMA technology was developed with federal grant funding by four major teaching universities including the University of Pennsylvania. It is a distributed archiving supercomputer with a robust security architecture, digital certification and smart card authentication - all features that support compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The archive is connected to the hospital, health system, imaging center or physician office via a device that enables them to access their image data or, with approval, another hospital’s image data, allowing patient records to be distributed within and across hospital enterprises in less than 90 seconds. This solution reduces image storage and retrieval costs, manages compliance with government regulations such as HIPAA, and capitalizes on the benefits of digital imaging by offering an information management solution that improves the delivery of care, professional training, and research related to women’s breast health.
Headquartered in Philadelphia, i3ARCHIVE(TM), Inc., is a privately held company that specializes in the national and cross-enterprise distribution and access of health images and data. The company’s flagship product is the National Digital Mammography Archive (NDMA), which provides the largest national database of digital mammography images, associated clinical and demographic data, and centralized Computer Aided Detection (CAD) algorithms.
