NEW YORK, NY, May 4, 2005 The Lupus Research Institute (LRI), the national nonprofit organization solely dedicated to novel research to prevent, treat and cure lupus, has appointed Brian L. Kotzin, M.D., vice-president of global clinical development at Amgen, Inc. and Robert S. Schwartz, M.D., deputy editor of the New England Journal of Medicine, to its Scientific Advisory Board.
