SOUTH LYON, Mich., Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Lodox System North America today announced the availability of the Rad-MP(TM) system upgrade for its Statscan Critical Imaging System. Described by Frost & Sullivan as one of the most versatile DR systems in the market, Statscan achieves even greater levels of clinical versatility and ease-of-use when equipped with the Rad-MP(TM) upgrade.

The new Rad-MP(TM) system upgrade consists of a 20" x 28" (50cm x 71cm) radiolucent imaging table, hydraulic patient imaging chair and platform. The imaging table can be used in both horizontal and vertical planes, and the adjustable hydraulic chair and platform can accommodate both seated and standing patients. This combination of capabilities ensures accurate positioning, patient comfort and maximum safety during radiographic exams and allows virtually any conceivable diagnostic procedure to be performed easily.
When equipped with the Rad-MP(TM) system upgrade, the Statscan allows x- ray technologists to easily position seated or standing patients for imaging of upper-body extremities, erect chests/abdomens, and weight-bearing spine and joint procedures.
The Rad-MP(TM) system upgrade can be acquired as an option to the standard configuration of new Statscan systems, or added to Statscan systems already in clinical use.
