RESTON, Va., Sept. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a health, national security and engineering solutions company, was awarded a subcontract by International SOS Government Services, Inc. (International SOS) to provide beneficiary education and enrollment support services for the TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP) under the Defense Health Agency (DHA). The firm-fixed-price contract has a one-year base period of performance, five one-year options and a total contract value of approximately $50 million if all options are exercised. Work will be primarily performed at over 14 overseas TRICARE Service Centers (TSCs) as well as at the Global TRICARE Service Center (GTSC) in Trevose, Pa.
The TOP contract encompasses a wide range of healthcare support services for TRICARE-eligible beneficiaries who reside outside the 50 United States and District of Columbia. Services include: the development of host nation provider networks, referral management activities, TRICARE eligibility and verification and enrollment, medical evacuations, dental care for Active Duty Services Members (ADSMs) in remote overseas locations, medical record translation services, medical management activities, customer service/call center activities, beneficiary and provider education and marketing, and claims processing.
Under the subcontract, Leidos will provide specific services to all TRICARE-eligible beneficiaries including customer support and assistance, beneficiary education, assistance in claims, appeals and grievances processing and healthcare support services designed to assist DHA in operating an integrated healthcare delivery system for all eligible beneficiaries overseas.
