New York, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Jobson Education Group (JEG) announced that Lawrence Sherman was promoted to Senior Vice President, Business Development. In this role, Sherman will develop new relationships with healthcare clients and commercial supporters worldwide that fund educational initiatives.

Sherman has expertise in developing medical education initiatives and will work with the faculty of the activities to ensure that all activities developed are scientifically rigorous and compelling. Sherman also aligns partnerships with organizations and associations that require continuing medical education (CME) or continuing professional development (CPD) certification.
He is also a site surveyor for the Accreditation Council on Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). In this role, Sherman reviews the materials of organizations (medical schools, hospitals, medical societies, as well as private concerns) to determine their accreditation and reaccreditation status. He also serves as the leader of the Medical Education and Communications Company Alliance (MECCA) within the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education.
Sherman is also a clinical instructor in emergency medicine for the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System in Long Island, New York. He frequently lectures around the world on topics including regulations and guidelines in CME, international/global CME and CPD, key opinion leader development, outcomes measurement in CME, and the use of emerging technologies in medical education.
