Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, Calif., has selected the Digisonics Structured Reporting Solution for their OB/GYN, vascular ultrasound and general radiology studies. With the Digisonics system, users will have access to comprehensive analysis, structured reporting and a single clinical database for all their study types.
Hoag Memorial Hospital will interface their Digisonics Structured Reporting Software directly with their incumbent McKesson PACS. After reports are finalized, the Report-to-PACS interface will convert a copy of the finalized report into a DICOM file for storage on the McKesson PACS. Digisonics DataLinks will create additional workflow efficiencies by autopopulating patient demographics and measurements directly into the structured report via integration with the hospital's ultrasound machines, saving valuable time and eliminating the potential for input errors.
As a result of employing the Digisonics Structured Reporting Solution, Hoag Memorial Hospital will benefit from a fully electronic workflow with faster report turnaround times and improved reporting accuracy.
