Stacey Empson, Executive Vice President of Healthlink’s Northeast Region, will serve on the Board of the Alliance; Jim Adams, Executive Vice President of Advisory Services, will serve on the Alliance’s Technical Leadership Committee.
As a member of the Board, Ms. Empson will have the opportunity to participate in guiding the Alliance’s efforts to accelerate the adoption of integrated, standards-based technology for the advancement of patient care. Ms. Empson has more than 17 years’ experience in various roles as healthcare attorney, consultant, and business strategist to hospitals and health systems across the U.S.
As a member of the Technical Leadership Committee, Mr. Adams will contribute to the review and analysis of emerging technologies, technology issues, and their potential impact on the policies and business of healthcare. Mr. Adams has more than 15 years’ experience in healthcare IT and is highly knowledgeable in the issues that healthcare executives confront daily as they assess strategic direction, organizational readiness, systems selection, and clinician adoption.
