E&C Names Dorothy Berry To Key Risk/Quality Management Position On Leadership Team

NEW YORK, Aug. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- E&C Medical Intelligence, Inc. (E&C), the exclusive provider of intelligent informatics coupled with risk reduction and patient safety systems and services for obstetrics, today announced the appointment of Dorothy Berry to the position of Vice President -- Risk Management/Patient Safety. Berry’s comprehensive expertise in these areas along with her extensive business and informatics experience will further strengthen E&C’s capabilities to provide real-time best practice and risk management support tools for hospitals and physicians.

Berry brings a decade of clinical experience and 18 years in healthcare risk management and patient safety to E&C. She has held leadership positions with several leading national professional liability carriers, most recently as Vice President of Healthcare Services for GE Insurance Solutions. She is certified in Six Sigma, a Fellow in the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM), CPHRM certified and is currently serving on the ASHRM Board. She maintains an active RN license in Illinois and will be based out of E&C’s Chicago office.
