American Chiropractic Association To Host 30th Annual Legislative Conference

ARLINGTON, Va., Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- For the 30th consecutive year, doctors of chiropractic and chiropractic students from across the United States will gather in the nation’s capital for the American Chiropractic Association’s National Chiropractic Legislative Conference (NCLC), March 3, at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill.

In addition to an inside look at the Capitol Hill advocacy activities that have helped make ACA one of the most effective lobbying organizations in America, NCLC 2005 will offer participants a chance to learn the latest on opportunities for doctors of chiropractic in Medicare, military and veterans health care, the National Health Service Corps and the Public Health Service.

Prominent leaders scheduled to make appearances at NCLC include Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee; Anthony Principi, former Secretary of Veterans Affairs; Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee; and Vice Adm. Donald Arthur, Surgeon General of the Navy and Chief of the Navy’s Bureau of Medicine and Surgery.
