HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 22, 2005--Aetna (NYSE:AET) and MHA Long Term Care Network Inc. today announced an alliance that will strengthen both companies’ network and patient management services for Medicare beneficiaries that are served through long-term care (LTC) pharmacies that serve nursing homes and other senior living facilities. MHA is a subsidiary of Managed Health Care Associates and has been formed to represent LTC pharmacy providers as they work with the new Medicare Part D prescription drug plans. The new prescription drug plans offer Medicare beneficiaries an increased level of support for their prescription needs.
