SEATTLE, March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Adaptis, a leading provider of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and related services to the healthcare industry, today announced that is has completed an in depth corporate re-engineering project designed to align the company infrastructure and resources for continued financial strength and longevity. The multi-month project, which began in 2004, culminated in two significant events: first, the completion of the company’s regional operations center move from Seattle, Washington to Yakima, Washington; and second the identification and move to a co-location facility for the company’s system servers. At the Yakima-based Regional Operations Center (ROC) both customer service and claims processing functions, formerly operated in Seattle, were seamlessly transitioned. Likewise, the Fisher Plaza Internet Connectivity Center located in downtown Seattle was selected to house the company’s development, test and production servers. This move provides the company with an enhanced infrastructure, more redundancies and two levels of physical security protection for its equipment. A total of 30 servers, a Storage Area Network (SAN) plus routers and other critical equipment are now located at the Fisher Plaza co-location facility which is connected to both the Seattle and Yakima facilities.
