(OTCBB:APNO - News), a leading provider of bioanalytical systems for drug discovery and life science research, today announced a marketing agreement with CombiMatrix Molecular Diagnostics (CMDX) to mutually promote and distribute an integrated analysis solution for Comparative Genomic Hybridization. The agreement is centered on the synergies between Alpha Innotech’s AlphaScan® laser scanner and CMDX’s Comparative Genomic Hybridization (CGH) arrays for neonatal screening and biomarker discovery. As part of the deal, CombiMatrix Molecular Diagnostics will integrate Alpha Innotech’s AlphaScan® scanner into its CGH platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.
