AGA Medical Corporation Elects Daniel Pelak And Terry Allison Rappuhn To Its Board Of Directors

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- AGA Medical Corporation (“AGA”) today announced that it has expanded its Board to seven (7) members with the election of Daniel Pelak, CEO of InnerPulse, Inc. and Terry Allison Rappuhn former CFO of Quorum Health Group, Inc to the Board of Directors.

Daniel Pelak is President and CEO of InnerPulse, Inc., a privately held company developing innovative cardiac rhythm management devices. Prior to his current position, Dan was President and CEO of Closure Medical, a manufacturer of innovative tissue glues designed to close cuts and wounds without the use of sutures or bandages. Closure Medical was acquired in 2005 by Johnson and Johnson. He also enjoyed a successful career at Medtronic where he held a series of positions with increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and general management.

Terry Alison Rappuhn is currently the project leader for Healthcare Financial Management Association’s PATIENT FRIENDLY BILLING(R) project, a national initiative to make financial communications with patients, clear, concise and patient focused. She has served as Chief Financial Office at Quorum Health Group, Inc, an owner and operator of healthcare systems nationwide. Terry also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Genesis HealthCare Corporation. She started her career at Ernst and Young and is a CPA.
