(TSX:SBS), a biotechnology company developing a broad pipeline of protein-based pharmaceuticals and non-pharmaceutical products, today announced that it has filed a final short form prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec in connection with an underwritten public offering of 4,251,496 of its common shares at a price of $3.00 per share (the “Primary Offering”) for total gross proceeds to the Company of approximately $12,750,000.
