MONTREAL, Dec. 7 /CNW Telbec/ - Roche Diagnostics introduces in the
Canadian market a diagnostic Human Papillomavirus (HPV) test. This test called
the Linear Array Genotyping test identifies 37 high- and low-risk HPV
genotypes. Persistent infection with high-risk genotypes is known to be
associated with progression to cervical cancer.
