This application represents the ongoing advancements the Company has made from its provisional filing last year. The technology represented by this utility patent is being utilized in the Company's development of its GlucoChip™ glucose-sensing microchip, and could also be employed in the technologies developed by MicroFluidic Systems, a leader in biological testing and sample preparation applications, a company which PositiveID announced earlier this week it has agreed to acquire.
