NEW YORK(EGMN) –There’s a 4-year-old in your emergency department whose brother poked him in the eye – how are you going to conduct a thorough exam when he won’t stop squirming? “The key to examining a kid’s eye is to distract him and be very quick,” said Dr. Gil Binenbaum, attending surgeon in the division of ophthalmology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
