NASHVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Henry Ross, chief operating officer of Nashville-based Aegis, has been elected to the company’s board of directors, effective immediately. Aegis is the nation’s leading healthcare business development company and a member of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame.
Ross has been with Aegis since 2000 and, as its COO, is responsible for core operations, finance, administration, information technology and creative services. “Henry has played a significant role in Aegis’ growth and national positioning,” said Chairman of the Board Roland Wussow. “We know that his experience, creative thinking and commitment to Aegis will be a wonderful addition to our already outstanding board.”
Immediately prior to joining Aegis, Ross served as vice president of group operations at publicly traded PhyCor, Inc., a Nashville-based company that provided business and strategic management services to physicians in group practice. Ross’ 24-year career also includes serving as president of Pro-Health, Inc., a privately held corporation engaged in the development and management of freestanding ambulatory surgery centers and medical imaging centers in Texas and New Mexico.
Ross holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
