EDMONTON, Alberta, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Medical Services International Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received regulatory approval to sell its VScan HIV 1&2 test kits in Lebanon. The distributor for Lebanon has already placed an order for in excess of 100,000 VScan HIV test kits as a result of this approval. While the original order only generates in excess of US$250,000.00, Medical Services has been assured that there are orders for greater than 750,000 VScan HIV test kits currently being negotiated. The kits ordered and being negotiated for are for delivery in 2006. There has also been significant interest in the VScan TB and Hepatitis test kits. The distributor in Lebanon estimates that the market for the VScan TB test kit will be approximately 400,000 test kits per year and in excess of 500,000 per year for the VScan Hepatitis test kit.
