Still not healthy but definitely getting better... Biotech IPOs are doing a bit better and the situation seems to be improving daily. Overall, the market is already way ahead of the 9 IPOs issued last year... there were 10 IPOs in Q1 of 2004 alone. But not all was well in Q1. As recently as two weeks ago, the market definitely did not look well. Maybe not critically ill, but undoubtedly suffering with several offerings being delayed and all of them pricing significantly below the original asking price.
