Former Pfizer Inc. Senior Corporate Counsel Joins Nutter, McClennen & Fish, LLP

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - December 05, 2011) - The law firm of Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP announced that Konstantin Linnik, Ph.D., has joined the firm as a partner in the Intellectual Property group. He will use his extensive industry expertise to benefit biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device clients and support their innovation goals. His work will focus on IP strategy; competitive analysis; patent portfolio development, licensing, enforcement and patent litigation. Before joining Nutter, Linnik was senior corporate counsel at Pfizer, the world’s largest pharmaceutical company, where he was lead patent counsel for Pfizer research units in the US, Canada, and Germany.

Before joining Pfizer, Linnik represented a number of biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies as external counsel. Aside from his legal training, Linnik earned a Ph.D. in cell biology from Boston University School of Medicine. Linnik is active in the Boston legal community and currently chairs the Biotechnology Committee of the Boston Patent Law Association.
