Demand For Medical Services International Inc. VScan Rapid Test Kits Increasing

EDMONTON, Alberta, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Medical Services International Inc. is pleased to announce that the demand for the VScan rapid test kits is increasing. In addition to the orders for the test kits through established distributors and through our existing contracts, Medical Services is being contacted by companies on a daily basis about becoming distributors for Medical Services or just buying the VScan test kits. In the first two weeks in October, 2005, the Company acquired 3 new distributors who placed initial orders for test kits that had a value of $410,000 USD. All orders are being backed by Letters of Credit from Western Banks.

These orders are in addition to orders from existing contracts. The Company is negotiating in different parts of the world with several other companies who wish to become distributors of the VScan products. It is anticipated that based on the initial orders that will be placed by these new distributors combined with the projected second quarter revenues from existing contracts and the orders placed in the first two weeks in October, the projected second quarter revenues will increase from $1,315,000 USD to $2,015,000 USD with an estimated profit of $702,000 USD.
