Bayer CropScience LP on Wednesday inaugurated its new offices in West Sacramento, unveiling the world headquarters of its biologics research and development operation.
In a project that will continue to evolve through next year, Bayer is making an $80 million investment in West Sacramento. Overall, Bayer is investing $1 billion in research-and-development labs across the U.S., said CEO Liam Condon.
“The challenges in agriculture are enormous,” Condon said.
