Radiation Therapy Services Appoints Treasurer

FORT MYERS, Fla., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Radiation Therapy Services, Inc. , a leading operator of radiation therapy centers, announced today that Jeffrey A. Pakrosnis has been appointed to the newly created position of Treasurer. Mr. Pakrosnis will be responsible for all of the Company’s treasury management operations, including the areas of capital markets, cash management, insurance, and investment management.

Mr. Pakrosnis joins Radiation Therapy with over 19 years experience in financial reporting and internal controls with several publicly traded companies. Most recently, Mr. Pakrosnis held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Galaxy Associates, Inc., a specialty industrial chemicals company. His responsibilities included financial reporting, the management of equity and debt financing in conjunction with acquisitions as well as human resources and financial software selection and implementation.

Prior to joining Galaxy Associates, Mr. Pakrosnis was a senior manager at Ernst & Young LLP and KPMG LLP, specializing in accounting and auditing for a wide range of clients and Sarbanes-Oxley reporting requirements for publicly traded companies. Mr. Pakrosnis holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and is a Certified Public Accountant.
