EL DORADO HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 2005--Pheresys Therapeutics Corporation ("PhereSys") announced today that it has expanded its therapeutic apheresis ("TA") services to the greater San Diego area, and continues to build its top-tier management team with the appointment of Jerry Kolins, MD, FACHE as its Western Regional Medical Director.
Dr. Kolins has over 25 years of transfusion medicine and blood banking experience and has been the Medical Director for the American Red Cross in San Diego ("ARC") for the past seven years. Joining Dr. Kolins as members of the PhereSys' San Diego team are several experienced therapeutic apheresis nurse specialists, also formerly with the ARC in San Diego, who will fill key therapeutic and management roles for the business going forward.
