PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 12, 2005--As a result of its recent growth and increasing demand for its surgical services consulting and PathFinder workflow management solution, PeriOptimum announced today that Jeffrey D. Karp has joined the company as President and Chief Executive Officer. In this position Mr. Karp will be responsible for leading the company as it adds sales and marketing to its core surgical consulting services and technology development expertise. Jeff joins Hakan Ilkin, a founder of PeriOptimum, who takes the position of Executive Vice President and will continue to lead the consulting and product development effort at PeriOptimum.
