Cambridge, MA, January 11, 2004 – MedPanel, a leader in online medical market intelligence today announced the launch of MedPanel Financial Group which will offer professional investors in the life sciences and healthcare industries access to medical thought leaders, community practitioners and other medical professionals through MedPanel’s unique online platform, methodologies and product suite. The new group will be led by Howard Brick, former vice president of business development, finance & legal affairs at Case Shiller Weiss. MedPanel also announced the appointment of Jeffrey P. Parker, founder of First Call and CCBN and prior chairman and CEO of Thomson Financial, to its advisory board. Mr. Parker will act as senior counselor for financial markets to MedPanel’s chief executive officer, Mr. Brick and MedPanel’s executive team.
