Marlabs Continues Impressive 2004 Momentum With Increased Revenues And Customer Growth

EDISON, N.J., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Marlabs, a global full service provider of application development, managed and consulting services, today summarized its achievements for the quarter ended September 30, 2004.

"We are elated at the tremendous growth Marlabs has experienced this year," said Siby Vadakekkara, CEO of Marlabs. "By carefully listening to our customers, our team has been able to implement business-critical applications that benefit our clients by creating more efficient processes and positively impacting their bottom lines. We attribute our 2004 growth to ensuring return on technology investments for our clients through best-of-breed solutions, services and products."

Marlabs saw impressive revenue growth of 150 percent for the quarter ended September 30, 2004 compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The company's revenue grew 45 percent for the period July 2003 to June 2004 compared to the period July 2002 to June 2003. Based on Marlabs' revenue performance, the company was recently named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for New Jersey for the third consecutive year. Rankings are based on a company's percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 1999 through 2003.

In addition to revenue growth, Marlabs has also experienced expansion in 2004. The company opened its Western Regional office in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to support its growing client base in the Western half of the United States, and a dedicated in-house development team was also added to augment the existing sales and training teams. Marlabs increased its Healthcare Practice in September 2004, promoting seasoned healthcare executive A. Srivathsan to director. The healthcare practice, which is a considerable focus for Marlabs, now includes more than 25 senior software engineers and consultants, and dedicated sales, product management and account teams.

Marlabs recognizes that change is a constant, and partners with customers to provide the insight and applications they need to stay ahead of the curve. Marlabs announced its MCO Central product, a suite of processes, software and services for Managed Care Organizations and Third Party Administrators designed to streamline business processes. In July, 1-888-OhioComp, the Cleveland-based certified managed care organization serving employers and their injured workers throughout Ohio's 88 counties, announced the successful implementation of MCO Central.

"Our outstanding team has received client praise from around the globe," stated Vadakekkara. "Marlabs' client base has grown because of our offerings, as well as because of our people. Our clients' success is our success."
