BOSTON, MA — (November 18, 2013) — inviCRO, LLC, a leading provider of imaging services and software solutions in the drug discovery and development market, is delighted to announce the official opening of its new office and laboratory in Boston’s Innovation District. inviCRO hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, November 15, to mark the opening of their new facility. The ceremony was held in collaboration with the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) and MassBio. Representatives were in attendance from multiple pharmaceutical companies as well as the facility development team including banking, construction and architectural partners.
“The lab represents a new chapter in the development of inviCRO. Our researchers now have the facilities and resources to extend the organization’s multi-modal preclinical capabilities,” said Jack Hoppin, PhD, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of inviCRO.
The 12,000 square-foot facility houses both inviCRO’s headquarters and state-of-the art imaging equipment, including PET, SPECT, CT and a 7 Tesla MRI system. In addition to the in vivo imaging instrumentation, the facility is outfitted with a radiochemistry facility and an autoradiography laboratory focused on novel three-dimensional tissue imaging.
