BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- HealthSouth Corporation has appointed Terri Kline to the position of Senior Vice President-Managed Care.
“Ms. Kline comes to HealthSouth with a wealth of experience in managed care contracting, marketing and customer service on both the payor and provider sides of the business,” said HealthSouth Chief Operating Officer Mike Snow. “I believe she will be a great asset to our operations team as we build on our strategic plan for the future.”
Most recently, Ms. Kline served as Chief Executive Officer for CHA HMO, Inc., a health plan in Kentucky owned by the University of Kentucky Healthcare System and six smaller local hospital systems. She has also served as President and CEO for United Healthcare of Georgia, where she was responsible for all of United Healthcare’s operations in that state; Senior Vice President of Operations for Oncare, Inc., an oncology practice management company; and Regional Vice President-Southeast for Aetna, where she directed all operations for eight southeastern states. In addition, Terri has held senior management positions at other Aetna subsidiaries, Partners National Health Plans, Voluntary Hospitals of America Enterprises, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida.
