Health Management Associates, Inc. Announces Two Hospitals Named To Solucient’s 100 Top Hospitals(R): Cardiovascular Benchmarks For Success, 2004

NAPLES, Fla., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Health Management Associates, Inc. announced today that Charlotte Regional Medical Center, located in Punta Gorda, Florida, and Yakima Regional Medical Center, located in Yakima, Washington, have been selected as two of the nation's top- performing cardiac hospitals, according to the 100 Top Hospitals(R): Cardiovascular Benchmarks for Success, 2004, a study conducted annually by Solucient, Inc. The study identifies hospitals that demonstrate superior clinical, operational, and financial performance in cardiovascular service.
