Tokyo (JCNN) - Hamamatsu Photonics will bring to market the NanoZoomer Digital Pathology (NDP), a slide scanning system for pathological diagnosis, both at home and overseas on April 15. The DNP scanns a pathological slide with a tissue, creates a digital slide with 1.9 billion pixels and stores it on a server in about five minutes. Further, the system can automatically convert up to 210 pathological slides with a simple procedure.
