About e-ditions
Elsevier e-ditions are core medical reference books packaged with online resources that complement the written material. The websites contain all the text and illustrations from the book, downloadable image libraries, links to PubMed, and online weekly updates, creating a “living book” that constantly evolves as the specialty does.
Elsevier launched its line of e-ditions in 2003, with many more planned. As part of Elsevier’s commitment to broaden and deepen its electronic medical products, e-ditions combine the printed reference with a fully searchable online version of the accompanying textbook. All e-ditions offer full-text searching, weekly content updates, links to current and relevant articles, personalization features (e.g., saved searches, bookmarks and notes), a searchable, downloadable image library, and access to PocketConsult(TM).
