MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, Md., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Phoenix Health Systems, Inc. has entered into a three year contract for day to day IT services and projects with Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The total contract is valued at over $14 million, with an option for extension of services beyond year three. Work is scheduled to begin in December of 2004.
Phoenix, a major provider of healthcare information technology outsourcing solutions, will staff, manage and maintain most functions of the hospital’s Information Services Department. Under the agreement, Phoenix will provide comprehensive services for system administration, technical operations and networking, Help Desk, software applications and integration, and overall security requirements.
