Blue Cross And Blue Shield Of Florida And Lee Memorial Health System Reach Contract Agreement

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSF) and Lee Memorial Health System (LMHS) today announced a two- year contract agreement for all lines of business.

Effective immediately, LMHS agreed to continue as a participating provider in the BCBSF networks for BlueCare (HMO), BlueChoice (PPC), Traditional (PHS), Advantage65, and Workers Comp plans. The renewal agreement includes all LMHS hospital facilities: Lee Memorial Hospital, Cape Coral Hospital, and HealthPark Medical Center. In addition, effective March 1, 2005, all LMHS hospitals have joined NetworkBlue (NWB), the provider network that supports BCBSF’s consumer driven product called BlueOptions.
