The theme for this year’s global event is women, girls, HIV and AIDS. Abbott Northwestern’s Clinic 42 is a regional leader in the care and treatment for people with AIDS. Clinic 42 provides a multi-disciplinary team for the treatment of patients with HIV/AIDS including physicians, chaplain, pharmacist, research and clinic nurses, psychologist, social worker, case manager and dietitian. Abbott Northwestern’s Park House is dedicated to assisting individuals with HIV/AIDS to enhance their support systems, increase their physical health and improve their emotional wellness. Park House provides nursing, psychological, and nutritional services and structure for persons who may be isolated due to their illness or need assistance in maintaining independence in the community.
