Acuo Technologies, LLC Names Jeff Timbrook Chief Executive Officer

ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Acuo Technologies®, specializing in the design of high-performance Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM®) and Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS) solutions for intelligent medical image management, storage and data migration, today named healthcare IT industry veteran Jeff Timbrook as its new Chief Executive Officer. Timbrook, recognized for his technical competence and considered a leading expert in the medical image management marketplace, has been actively involved in DICOM/PACS image management since 1995.

Timbrook has served as Acuo’s executive vice president of sales and marketing and succeeds Gary Haycox, who has left Acuo to pursue new business ventures.

Before joining Acuo, he was vice president and co-founder of Emageon, where he successfully led the sales efforts from the inception of the company through its growth to more than 260 North American customers in 2005. Prior to Emageon, Timbrook held sales and marketing leadership positions at StorCOMM, Medicus Systems, and Lanier Healthcare.
