The University of Michigan, with its size, complexity, and academic strength, the breadth of its scholarly resources and the quality of its faculty and students, is one of America's great public universities and one of the world's premiere research institutions.

At the University of Michigan, we're breaking new ground every day with exciting developments in the fields of life sciences, technology, medicine, and engineering. And, in the process, we're making an impact beyond our campuses. The practical applications of UM research are benefiting our lives right now. From the invention of a new, inhaled flu vaccine to the creation of software that helps children learn science, to the invention of the first bio-artificial kidney, UM technology is contributing to the betterment of human life.

UM Tech Transfer works to effectively transfer such University technologies to the market.

In the past five years, UM Tech Transfer has executed 267 technology license agreements, created 34 new startup businesses, and generated licensing revenues to stimulate additional research and discovery. Just as importantly, it has created connections between UM's renowned researchers and scientists and an ever-increasing set of partners with the resources and capabilities to fulfill the potential of UM discoveries.

If you are interested in finding out about UM technology and how it might be able to help solve the problems being faced by your company, please feel free to call the offices of UM Tech Transfer, or visit their web site and search the comprehensive listing of currently available technologies.
