Southwest Airlines to pay $7.5M for Missed Safety Inspections

The Dallas Morning News -- Southwest Airlines Co. has agreed to pay a $7.5 million civil penalty for continuing to fly 46 Boeing 737 airplanes that were due for mandatory safety inspections, the Federal Aviation Administration said Monday.
