SF Gate -- Scott Howard, who closed his eponymous restaurant in San Francisco just over a year ago, is getting back behind the stoves. He’s the executive chef at the soon-to-reopen Hotel Shattuck Plaza in Berkeley (2086 Allston Way, at Shattuck), where he’s creating the concept and menu for the restaurant and bar.
