pntonline -- The City of Clovis is preparing to abate the Hotel Clovis to remove asbestos, pigeon guano and lead based paint. A public meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 at the Ingram Room of the Clovis-Carver Library to discuss the remediation process and future plans for the hotel. Funding for the remediation project comes from the Environmental Protection Agency and the State of New Mexico Economic Development Department.
