NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 23, 2004--Rodman & Renshaw is pleased to announce the programme for its forthcoming Rodman & Renshaw Techvest Global Healthcare Conference, taking place at the Claridge’s Hotel, London, from 12th May to 14th May.
This major conference will feature presentations from 160 emerging growth biotechnology companies, both from the US and Europe, and is designed to give investors access to some of the most exciting opportunities in the biotech and healthcare space globally.
The 160 corporate presentations will be arranged in three parallel streams across the three day event. Each session will highlight a therapeutic topic including oncology, cardiovascular disease, central nervous system disorders, infectious diseases and medical device technology. The first two days of the conference will run from 8am until 5pm, and will feature mostly public companies, whilst the third day will concentrate mainly on private companies, and will close at 1.45pm.
The conference will feature presentations from up to nine companies per session, divided into theme-based groups, and chaired by a Rodman & Renshaw analyst. After each presentation, delegates will be invited to discuss each company’s technology in greater depth in individual breakout rooms.

On completion of the registration process, delegates will be asked to identify those companies that they wish to meet in confidential one-to-one sessions. Prior to the conference, Rodman & Renshaw will provide delegates with a detailed timetable of meetings with their chosen companies.
The conference will also feature two evening opportunities for networking and further discussion. The gala event on May 12th will include a four-course meal at the National Maritime Museum, and a performance by the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil ensemble. On May 13th, a VIP reception will be held at Kensington Palace, a Royal residence since 1689, where guests will be able to join tours of the Palace and the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection.
