Vadodara, March 2: Putting the future of about 1,700 employees in limbo, the management of the ailing city-based pharma major, Ambalal Sarabhai Enterprises (ASE), has closed down its manufacturing operations beginning Friday. A notice to this effect was put up on Thursday evening on ASE gates after most of the workers had left the premises.
