Times-Georgian -- Cardiovascular disease is the number-one cause of death in Carroll County and the Tanner Heart and Vascular Specialists group is trying to lower those numbers by hosting a peripheral artery disease (PAD) screening clinic on Thursday at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.
