Lancaster Online -- The opening of the $170 million hotel/convention center on Penn Square has been delayed by slow construction progress, again. Developers announced in a news release Wednesday afternoon that construction of the 300-room Marriott Hotel and 220,000-square-foot convention center in downtown Lancaster “has not yet progressed to the point of receiving a Certificate of Occupancy (CO), which was expected this week.”
