ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hatch Medical, L.L.C., a medical device incubator and technology brokerage firm, announced today that it has been retained by Dr. Frank Levy, and his companies, Portable Medical Devices, Inc. and AngioAdvancements, LLC. Hatch Medical will broker the sale of a novel medical gas management system, the CO2mmander® and complimentary product, AngiAssist® that permits the safe delivery of medical-grade CO2 gas. Medical uses of CO2 gas continue to grow worldwide, as physicians in a variety of fields have increasingly embraced carbon dioxide-based procedures that are often safer and more cost-effective treatment options. Common uses for CO2 include insufflation, diagnosing peripheral vascular and aortic disease, suspension of embolics and sclerosants used to treat uterine fibroids, tumors, gastrointestinal hemorrhage and vascular malformations.
