In patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), use of the Edwards Sapien device is rarely associated with conduction abnormalities or the need for permanent pacemaker implantation. The new findings from a single-center study were published online July 23, 2010, ahead of print in the American Journal of Cardiology.
