The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) announced on March 19 that its research group has discovered “small modulatory dsRNAs (smRNAs),” a new type of RNA that relates to neurogenesis, in collaboration with the Salk Institute for Biological Studies of the US.
