ProxyMed, Inc. (Nasdaq:PILL), a leading provider of physician healthcare transaction processing services, today announced an agreement with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield to provide physicians participating in CareFirst's network the ability to electronically submit medical and hospital claims, receive electronic remittance advice (ERA), and track the progress of the claims transmission to insure receipt by CareFirst. These transactions moved into full production on September 20, 2004.
