Onex Corporation announced today the completion of the acquisitions of American Medical Response, Inc. (“AMR”) and EmCare Holdings, Inc. (“EmCare”). The purchase price was approximately $1 billion. The equity investment was approximately $270 million for a 98% ownership interest. That equity investment was funded through Onex Partners LP and certain of its limited partners, including Onex. Onex’ share of that investment was approximately $100 million.
